If you would like to be sponsored, submit your story here. You will be asked to fill in some brief information about yourself and write about why you want to be Sponsored To A Better Marriage. This area of the site allows you to appeal to your family and friends so they can visit this site and view your story when you reach out to them for help.
If We Are Chosen To Be Sponsored, What Happens Next?
When a family member or friend chooses to sponsor you, an email confirmation is sent both to the sponsor and to you. This email thanks your sponsor for their support and encourages them to continue supporting you in other ways. You will receive an email with information to help you establish your program dates and times so you can begin the program as soon as possible.
You will then need to sign a Marriage Lifeline Couples Agreement that defines what is expected and what your responsibilities will be throughout the 4 week program. Once you sign and return the agreement, we will assign you a Marriage Translator who will walk you through seting up your Internet account and schedule for the first of the eight, one hour phone calls.
Can We Still Participate In The Program Without An Internet/Email Connection?
Yes you can. The Marriage Lifeline requires that you complete work using tools on an Internet website. People without internet connections can use computers at their job or local library to complete this work. Once these Internet tools are completed and materials accessed and printed, the most important time is spent with your Marriage Translator over the telephone.

What Chance Do We Have Of Saving Our Marriage If We Go Through The Sponsored Program?
In the history of the Marriage Lifeline program, 88% of all couples who complete the 4 week program with their Marriage Translator see each other in a whole new light, communicate much better and actually enjoy each other. The other 12% have been unwilling to work at the plan they were given and therefore have not been able to turn their marriage around.
What If We Live Outside The USA, Can We Still Be Sponsored?
Yes, the Sponsored program is available to couples outside the USA, as long as one member of the couple is fluent in English. These calls are conducted via computer using the free communication software Skype. As of March 2007, the Marriage Lifeline will also be available to Spanish speaking couples through our association with Laugh Your Way America LLC who offers the program in Spanish.
